WHATCHUWANNA

Growing up, my musical influences ranged from Rock to Musical Theatre to Jazz to Classical and so on.

I never felt I had "one style". I loved everything. When I started writing songs I would pretty much just think of a style and write it. I suppose this helped me in my career as a producer / composer for albums and television.

One style that always struck a chord with me was the Brit Rock / Mod / Punk music of the 60's and 70's. I love the classics. The Who, Sex Pistols, The Beatles, The Stones, etc.

Songs like "My Generation", "God Save The Queen", "Helter Skelter", "Lust For Life", and "Get Off Of My Cloud" were - and still are - favourites of mine.

If these songs ever make it onto Songza, I hope they're put into the "Feel Good, Energetic, Retro Inspired Rock" playlist.
